About me
I am a BACP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist working with individuals and couples.
My most recent Counselling Diploma with Temenos in Sheffield was a 4 year course in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have many years of experience, counselling in a wide variety of areas, helping clients who have been bereaved as well as clients with cancer and those that care for them.
Loss and it’s effects can be present in many areas of our lives especially at times of change, transition and endings and I offer counselling to help with these life events.
Having spent a number of years counselling for a national Mental Health Charity, I have seen how everyday life can be so overwhelming at times and that counselling can offer a safe and much needed space to reflect.
Before training as a Counsellor I worked with children and young people who were struggling to manage in their school setting. In recent years I have counselled many children and young people.
As a parent myself I know how challenging family life can be.
I have a real interest in the well-being of carers. I feel passionately that this role can be life changing and may impact greatly on the carer themselves, raising many emotions that counselling may help with.
